Pricing
Simple. Transparent. All Inclusive.
At New Moon, we believe families should understand pricing from the very beginning. That's why we offer one all-inclusive private-pay rate for each room type with no hidden fees and no surprise charges for increasing levels of care within the scope of our services.
Rather than publishing pricing that may change over time, we provide every family with our current rate sheet upon request.
No obligation. No high-pressure sales presentation. Simply ask, and we'll gladly send it to you the same day.
One rate, not a moving target
Choosing assisted living is a significant decision. Understanding the cost shouldn't be complicated.
At New Moon, we believe pricing should be clear, transparent, and easy to understand. That's why we offer one all-inclusive monthly rate for each room type. Your monthly fee includes personalized care, assistance with activities of daily living, medication support, home-cooked meals, housekeeping, laundry, and 24-hour supervision.
There are no routine level-of-care fees or point systems that increase your monthly rate if your loved one's needs remain within the scope of our assisted living services.
Before move-in, every family receives a written residency agreement that clearly explains what is included and the limited circumstances under which rates may change. We believe peace of mind comes from knowing exactly what to expect.
What's Included in Your Monthly Rate
Your all-inclusive monthly rate includes:
• Beautifully furnished private or shared accommodations
• Three home-cooked meals each day, plus snacks and beverages
• Personalized assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
• Medication assistance and support in accordance with each resident's care needs and applicable Florida requirements
• Housekeeping, laundry, and fresh linens
• 24-hour supervision and compassionate personal care
• Daily engagement, wellness, and meaningful activities

Additional Expenses to Consider
The following services and expenses are not included in your monthly rate:
• Physician services, home health, therapy, hospice, and other healthcare services ordered by your physician
• Prescription medications and personal medical supplies
• Personal items, salon and barber services, and transportation for personal appointments or outings
• Incontinence supplies
A one-time Community Fee is due at move-in.
Before move-in, we'll review your Residency Agreement, including all fees, policies, and refund provisions with you personally, so you'll have a clear understanding of everything before making your decision.
Payment
New Moon is private pay only. We do not accept Medicaid or Optional State Supplementation. Some families may use long-term care insurance benefits or VA Aid & Attendance, when eligible, to help offset the cost of assisted living. We're happy to provide documentation requested by your insurance carrier or the VA.
What actually drives the cost of assisted living in Lake County
If you're comparing options across Eustis, Mount Dora, Tavares, and the surrounding area, four things move the number more than anything else:
Size of the community.
Community size can affect both the experience and the way pricing is structured. When comparing options, look beyond the advertised base rate and ask exactly what services are included, which services carry additional charges, and under what circumstances the monthly rate may change.
Room type.
A private room costs more than a companion room. It's usually the largest single variable in any quote you'll receive.
How pricing is structured.
Assisted living communities structure pricing differently. Some use an all-inclusive rate, while others charge separately for certain services or levels of assistance. Ask what is included in the quoted rate, what may result in additional charges, and how future rate changes are determined. Get those answers in writing.
Level of assistance.
More hands-on help means more staff time. In a tiered community that shows up as a higher care level. Here, it's factored into your rate once, at admission.
