  • New Moon was designed as a women only home so that residents share a living environment with peers who have often had similar life experiences. Many families tell us their mother is more comfortable, more social, and more herself in that setting.

  • New Moon is at 24548 Calusa Blvd in Eustis, Florida, in Lake County beside the tenth tee of Black Bear Golf Club, minutes from Mount Dora and Tavares, and accessible from the SR-429 and SR-417 corridors.

  • New Moon offers one all-inclusive private-pay rate based on room type. We do not use tiered care levels or add monthly care charges as a resident's routine assistance needs change, provided her needs remain within what New Moon is licensed and able to safely provide.

  • No. New Moon is private pay only and does not accept Medicaid or Optional State Supplementation.

  • Rooms come fully furnished, so nothing is required. Residents are welcome to personalize their space with photographs, quilts, artwork, and meaningful keepsakes. Larger furniture pieces may be accommodated on a case-by-case basis, depending on available space and safety considerations. We’ll review any requested items together before move-in.

  • We will tell you early and honestly. Admission and continued residency at New Moon follow the criteria in Rule 59A-36.006, F.A.C. If a resident's needs exceed what we're licensed to provide, we'll begin the conversation well before it becomes urgent and help your family plan the next step.

  • Yes. We welcome and coordinate with home health, therapy, hospice, and lab services ordered by your physician. Those services are arranged through your doctor and billed separately.

  • Yes. New Moon Senior Living is licensed by the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration as an assisted living facility, License #14113, and passed its initial AHCA survey with zero deficiencies.

We offer both private rooms and a companion room in our intimate five-resident home. Each room is furnished, and residents enjoy personalized assistance, meals, housekeeping, laundry, daily activities, and 24-hour supervision within the scope of our services.
